Mayor's Charity Golf Funds
In 2007, the Haldimand Horticultural Society and the Dunnville
Horticultural Society were the major recipients of funds raised
by the Mayor's Charity Golf Challenge.
These funds are to be used for a variety of projects that
would not normally be possible with Society funds.
The Haldimand Horticultural Society Executive decided on
the following projects:

Student Bursaries
One for each High School in Haldimand Country to be
awarded to a student in a horticultural program who
will be continuing their education in this field. The
bursary amount has been increased from $75.00 to $200.00
to be funded for 5 years or until increased funds allocated
are exhausted. Note: $600.00 to be
budgeted each year (3 at $200.00 each)

$3,000.00 for 5 years (may be longer depending on student eligibility for bursary). |
Selkirk Horticultural Society
This is a small Society, and a donation is given to them to assist with their activities. |
